Returns policy and right of withdrawal

1. 14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 calendar days of receiving it (Articles VI.47 to VI.52 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law).

2. Exception for opened food products
For reasons of health protection and hygiene, we cannot take back food products that have been unsealed or opened after delivery (Article VI.53, 5° CEL). The same applies to products that are liable to deteriorate rapidly (Article VI.53, 4° CEL). Unopened products in their original, undamaged packaging can be returned.

3. How to withdraw
Let us know within 14 days of receipt at info@elcielicious.com, stating your name, your order number and the products you are returning. You may use the model form below, but this is not mandatory. We will then email you the return address. Send the products back, properly packed, no later than 14 days after notifying us.

4. Cost of returning
The cost of returning the products is borne by you, unless we delivered a wrong or damaged product.

5. Refund
We will refund the price of the returned products, together with the original standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back. We will refund using the same means of payment you used for your order, unless you expressly request otherwise. You will not incur any fees for this refund.

6. Damaged or wrong product
Did a product arrive damaged, or did you receive the wrong product? Email us as soon as possible, preferably with a photo, at info@elcielicious.com. We will then send you a new product or refund the product and the delivery costs. Your statutory rights always continue to apply.
